Yes. Jane is in South Hobart, just a short 20 walk from the University of Tasmania’s Sandy Bay campus and Hobart city centre. Jane students can also access the University of Tasmania’s UniHopper Network, which connects key campuses and locations across Hobart.
Jane’s fees are designed to be all-inclusive, so students and families know what to expect. Fees include your furnished room, daily meals, utilities, unlimited Wi-Fi, laundry access, 24/7 onsite support, study spaces, common rooms and recreational facilities. Absolutely. You’re very welcome to visit Jane before you apply. Tours are available Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm, and the Jane team can also help if you need to arrange a visit outside office hours.

Yes. Jane offers a range of scholarships to help support students from different backgrounds. Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of academic merit, financial need, leadership and community involvement, and are paid as a remission of fees.
Students only need to submit one application to be considered for all available Jane scholarships.
