Looking for student accommodation in Hobart? Jane offers safe, welcoming residential college accommodation in South Hobart, with single, double and ensuite rooms available for students. Each room includes the essentials you need for study, rest and everyday life, while giving you space to make it feel like home.

All rooms include: a key locked door, only accessible by you (and select staff in emergencies), a long single bed with mattress and mattress protector, a desk, chair, heater, bookcase, cupboard, drawers and curtains or blinds.

For postgraduate residents, we have private self-contained apartments available, or shared accommodation in the lodge.

You’re always welcome to book a tour and see the rooms for yourself. Just get in touch with Jane to arrange a visit.

A place to call your own

Feel free to make the room your own. Decorate the space with your own rugs, artwork, lamps and shelves, or bring a bar fridge to make sure you’ve got brain food at the ready.

Common spaces

We have several recreational areas where you can watch TV, play pool and table tennis, or use the turfed sporting area to play basketball, netball, badminton and a range of other sports and activities. For those studying music or who like playing a musical instrument, there are several music practice rooms.

There are a number of quiet study spaces available for individual or group use with a whiteboard and large tables.

We also have beautiful gardens and are only a short stroll from the South Hobart shopping strip with local grocer and coffee shops.
