Scholarships

In partnership with benefactors from around the world, Jane offers meaningful scholarships each year.

If you’re ready to find your people and make the most of your time at uni, Jane should feel within reach.

Jane Scholarships

Scholarships for 2027 will open on 1 August.

Jane offers a range of scholarships awarded on a combination of academic merit, financial need, leadership and community involvement, helping support students from a wide range of backgrounds.

Scholarships are paid as a remission of fees. Students only need to submit one application to be considered for all available scholarships.

As most of our scholarships are community focused, shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview with the College, preferably in person.

Selection Process

To be considered for a scholarship, students must have applied for residency at Jane by close of business Monday 30 November 2026. Those who have submitted an application for a scholarship but have not submitted an application for residency at the College by the due date will not be considered for a scholarship.

The Jane Scholarships Committee meets in late 2026 to determine scholarship recipients. Successful applicants are notified by email as soon as practical after those meetings, although it is possible that some recipients may not be informed until the beginning of Semester 1 2027.

Scholarships applicants only need to submit one application to be considered for all Jane scholarships. We also encourage students to apply for as many University scholarships as they are eligible for.

Selection of the successful recipients is undertaken by assessing all those who applied for scholarships. Students who do not apply cannot be considered even if their results were higher than those received by the scholarship winner.

The Committee's decisions are final and no further correspondence will be entered into. Unfortunately, due to the tight timeframes we work on, unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.

All scholarship recipients must be residents at Jane in 2027. Withdrawal from the College will mean forfeiture of the scholarship.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of funding for scholarships, deferrals of scholarships are not permitted.
